The rain stayed away but it was just as cold as last time, and very windy too. Again, 15 riders braved the conditions, of whom just 2 were Crabwood, 72--year-old superstar Dave England taking the honours in 28.30, from Brian Coupe 29.16. Isle of Wight visitor Dave Dent was fastest in 22.50, Sotonia's Stuart Martingale 2nd in 24.20 and DHC's Paul Lockyer not far behind in 24.41.
Thanks to our timekeepers Dave Crocker and Roy Budd and helpers.
