Last night's 10 on the P164 hosted the Sotonia club championship, which had succumbed to bad weather earlier in the season. And this event also turned out to be a very wet affair. Well done to all riders. Many thanks to Evan Jardine-Skinner who abandoned his race to help Lee Dexter who had unfortunately crashed. Lee was taken off to hospital for attention to a nasty gash on his knee.
Thanks also to all the helpers for braving the conditions! Timekeepers David Crocker, Roy Budd, Jacky Betteridge (and Pete!), also Colin Smith, Steve Brown and Claire Newman.
The event was followed by the traditional get-together and meal at the Waterloo Arms.
