CRABWOOD NEWSLETTERChristmas 2014
NEWS
Dear Crabwood members
Firstly some sad news, Ivy Robertson one of our founder members passed away in November. I would like to thank Claire for the following obituary.
Ivy Robertson, our last founder member, passed away on 16th November, at the age of 91. Ivy was one of the band of workers at the Ordnance Survey (based at Crabwood House) who formed the club in 1943, and it was very dear to her as it is where she met her husband John once he returned from active service in WWII (including D-Day). They enjoyed happy times in the early club days which involved mostly all-day rides and longer tours, as well as social events. They continued to support the club throughout the years and Ivy continued to attend our social events including this year's club dinner and birthday tea. Always cheerful and positive, she will be sadly missed at our club functions.

Racing starts at 11.00 and we will be all packed up by 17.00. It is appreciated that everyone will not be able to stay all day. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
